It's summer season and that means one thing: a slew of festivals are lined up one after another until late fall. Sasquatch!, Camp Bisco, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo have released their lineups, and Austin City Limits have followed suit.
Austin City Limits recently released their lineup and it doesn't disappoint. While there are some underwhelming acts like fun., Grouplove, and Kings of Leon, there are other bands that make up for it.
Headlining the festival will be the 80's supergiants Depeche Mode and The Cure; the bombastic Muse and the rock n' roll sweethearts Kings of Leon. Other great acts performing at the festival are Thom Yorke's Atoms For Peace; Motown legend Lionel Richie; Bankrupt!'s Phoenix and R&B crooner D' Angelo. Also on the lineup are Wilco, Vampire Weekend, The National, Eric Church, Kaskade, Passion Pit, Arctic Monkeys, Kendrick Lamar, Tame Impala, Franz Ferdinand, Grimes, Purity Ring, Foxygen, Local Natives, and Toro Y Moi.
