Northern Ireland's Girls Names have premiered the music video for their single, "Hypnotic Regression", over at dazeddigital.com. The Belfast band who debuted with the lo-fi post punk piece, Dead To Me, has transformed themselves to a studio-neat, high concept quartet with the follow up, The New Life. Directed by Nick Thompson, the music video for the tenebrous track, "Hypnotic Regression", looks like a sophisticated fashion ad. During New York Fashion Week, the same song was used to soundtrack a Kenneth Cole show. Not sure where this couture partnership is going, but if it helps an indie band to keep making their spectral music, I'm all for it.
