According to Fact Mag, an early version of Daft Punk's "Closer" has surfaced. The track which features DJ Falcon is going to be the closer to their upcoming new album Random Access Memories.
The track comes from a 2002 live DJ set at Paradiso in Amsterdam by Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter, Cassius, and DJ Falcon. The track sampled Australian rock band The Sherbs' "We Ride Tonight." It's been over a decade since they Bangalter spun the track. Who knows how many iterations the song has gone through.
Daft Punk's fourth studio album Random Access Memories will be released on May 21, 2013 via Columbia Records.
