"Blast Off Girls" (Video)

What else is there to do when it snows for more than half the year? Make some warm fuzzy pop punk. And that's exactly what Minneapolis band Prissy Clerks did. From their new album Bruise or Be Bruised, their single "Blast Off Girls" recalls all of the fun warm rocking that bands such as Sebadoh and Sleater-Kinney did back in the day. Clara Salyer, formerly of the band Total Babe (which included Jordan Gatesmith currently leading the band Howler) writes some punky Brewster-esque pop and their guitars are full of spunk.

Check out their new music video for the track which easily compliments the band's fun aesthetics. It really captures the nineties with the 8 bit videogame graphics in the background playing along.
