During 'Saturday Night Live' we were treated to another Daft Punk teaser, or this time a full-on preview of their new single "Get Lucky." This was no small clip. The video preview contained iconic producer, vocalist, artist, and performer Pharrell next to legendary guitarist and producer Nile Rodgers. While Pharrell sang, Rodgers gleefully was on as the guitarist while the French duo respectively completed the group as bassist and drummer.
The song takes us back to a time when disco ruled the mean streets of the radio airwaves and takes us away from all of the "EDM." Pharrell's vocals sounded smooth as well as Rodger's guitar. The duo doned their new Saint Laurent outfits and looked just as funky.
On May 21, 2013 their new album Random Access Memories will be unleashed. Other than Pharrell and Nile Rodgers making appearances, Paul Williams, Giorgio Moroder, Todd Edwards, DJ Falcon, Chilly Gonzales, Panda Bear and Julian Casablancas have also been enlisted.
