For four lads who had no expectation of "making it", Holograms have far exceeded their own hopes with an affecting, vintage synth-adorned post punk self-titled debut in 2012. Fueled by the completion of their first US tour, and all the attention Holograms have garnered within a year, the Swedish quartet are set to release the follow-up, Forever, due out in months via Captured Tracks. In the meantime, stream the first track, "Flesh And Bone" below. And I hear they have acquired another synth to maximize their unique fusion of new wave and punk.
