Folks in the UK have a couple of advantages over Americans when it comes to James Bond. First, they can claim him as their own. Sure, we have Captain America, John McClane and Superman here in the US, but none of them are quite as cool as 007.
Another thing that the British can hold over our heads is the fact that they'll get to see Skyfall well before we do. The movie premieres in London on Oct. 26, giving smarmy Brits ample opportunity to rub their superiority in our noses and spoil plot points of the film.
That means it's your duty as an American to see Skyfall as soon as humanly possible. What's the best way to do that? According to The Hollywood Reporter, you should strongly consider checking it out on IMAX. Doing so will allow you to see the picture on Nov. 9, unlike your standard-definition counterparts, who have to wait until the next night.
If you haven't started re-watching Bond movies, playing the online viral game or listening to the Skyfall soundtrack already, get started now. You still have plenty of time. And why not watch the trailer again just to get psyched?
