There's been a surge of punk-gaze (I just made that one up on spot, but it's all fabricated) in recent years. Or maybe we are just more keen nowdays of the noise rock with feral beauty. Canada's Odonis Odonis leans more towards the moodier industrial with their latest track from the forthcoming EP, Better, due out April 16 on Buzz Records. The word is that the trio also has a full-length waiting to hit the market later this year. Opening for Metz in April, the Toronto band should win over many fans, if the attendees weren't already besotted with their surf-noise-melodic-punk (obviously that one's hatched up too) of Hollandaze LP, released in November 2011. Odonis Odonis will also be playing at Austin Psych Fest.
