Like we've seen many a time in hip-hop before, a rapper's past is quickly catching up with them. 17-year-old wunderkid Chief Keef is currently facing a return to jail for violating his probation—an 18-month sentence stemming from an incident where he pointed a gun at a police officer—according to Chicago Sun Times.
Prosecutors claim Keef's probation was violated in a now-pulled Pitchfork video, in which he was seen handling and firing weapons during an interview and freestyle at a gun range. His probation "bans him from having any guns or illegal drugs or associating with gang members."
The Interscope-signed rapper also failed to complete his GED by a set deadline, and was found associating with Black Disciple gang members following a call of gang disturbance on Sep. 30.
An additional hearing will be held on Nov. 20.
