South Florida's Urban Noize took the time to mash up two artists that to some may not make sense, but at the root of it all – it does. Lana Del Rey has mentioned numerous times that she’s had a penchant love for hip hop. And this mesh might be the closest we’ll get to hearing her do a legit rap song, or at least in some form anyways. Hearing her track “You Can Be The Boss” and HOV’s “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” is a mix of sultry vixen seduction and grand hip hop.
And in addition to the connection, Jay Z and Lana Del Rey will also be working on tracks for the upcoming The Great Gatsby soundtrack which stars Leonardo Di Caprio and Carey Mulligan and is directed by Baz Luhrmann.
