Sweden's The Mary Onettes has given us a consistent stream of solid shimmery pop. First they did it in 2007 with their self-titled album and then in 2009 with their sophomore effort Islands. Now the quartet will be releasing their third album Hit The Waves March 12, 2013 via Labrador Records. Produced by Dan Lissvik (Studio, The Embassy, Young Galaxy etc.) they continue their tradition of full-on glimmering guitars and soaring vocals by frontman Philip Ekstrom. You can hear all of this in their newest single "Hit The Waves." Just like the sounds of crashing water on the beach shore, the strong melodies hypnotize you as if you were floating through clouds.
