The London grunge-y punk-y band, Wolf Alice, proves that you don’t need fancy After Effects animations and metaphysical concepts to make a great music video. Introduced as a sweet acoustic ode to the singer/guitarist Ellie Roswell’s newly neutered cat (who looks like a shorter-haired version of my cat, Sigur), “Fluffy” shortly demolishes the dulcet tones with a raw energy of juvenescence. A quasi-autobiography of how the four of them formed from boredom of youth, Wolf Alice has made your precious three and seventeen seconds worthwhile for your visual and audio yearning.
