Remember when Lana Del Rey quit music for about half a second? Early last year she told Vogue “I don’t think I’ll write another record. What would I say? I feel like everything I wanted to say, I’ve said already.” Bold words coming from a twenty-something whose repertoire includes songs about her love of wishy-washy, Call of Duty-playing (probably) bad boys and also how her pussy tastes like Coca-Cola. Is that really all you wanted to say to us, Lana?
Apparently not. The tight-lipped/big-lipped singer is back (even though she never left) in the studio recording a new album (see photo above). FACT speculates that the happy looking fellow front and center is songwriter/producer Rick Nowels, who worked with Del Rey previously on Born to Die and its follow-up, the Paradise Edition.
