Four Tet’s recent set on RinseFM featured a fast-paced reworking of the haunting Grimes track “Skin.” According to a post on Four Tet’s Facebook page“It's just some track I made the other day using a loop from her record... no remix going on or anything.”
Whether or not you believe Kieran Hebden is even capable of making “just some track,” the cut is very promising—the original song’s feel of incantation is still intact, but now the seduction comes faster. Check out a YouTube rip of the audio below.
