It's still hard to believe that on the rise Brooklyn rapper Capital STEEZ (Jamal Dewar) has passed away, but his music will live on. Last night on ShowOff Radio on Shade45, Statik Selektah and Sammy Needlz dropped a 23-minute mix in honor of the Pro Era member. Selektah had produced tracks for STEEZ and his Pro Era crew including several tracks on their new mixtape PEEP: The aPROcalypse.
If you're looking to check out more music from Capital STEEZ, check out his excellent solo mixtape AmeriKKKan Corruption Reloaded. Dewar was just 19-years-old when he passed away on New Year's Eve. Rest in power.
