Like countless musicians before him, Kid Cudi is looking to break into the acting world. With two seasons of How to Make It in America under his belt and roles in indie comedy Goodbye World and thriller Tacoma already in the works, Scott Mescudi has a third role lined up. The rapper/singer/songwriter has signed on to a romantic comedy Two Night Stand.
Making his feature debut, Max Nichols will direct the film, which also stars Analeigh Tipton (Crazy, Stupid, Love.) and Miles Teller (Project X). The film, which has begun shooting, follows a pair who have what was intended as a one-night stand after meeting online and end up getting snowed in together. Jessica Szohr (Gossip Girl) plays Tipton’s roommate and Mescudi plays her boyfriend. There’s no word yet on when Two Night Stand will see the light of day. [iW]
