It's been quite a "Gangnam Style" year. And although President Obama didn't end up doing the world famous horsey dance, PSY has a lot to be proud of. Accolades in numerous countries and having appeared on at least a dozen national television programs in the United States, his music video for “Gangnam Style” have also finally hit 1,000,000,000 billion views on YouTube. That is a lot of zeros there. He surpassed Justin Bieber's "Baby" a few weeks ago and now has set an incredibly high benchmark for the online video channel. He also happens to hold the Guiness World Record for most liked video on YouTube.
And as the year ends (and not completely), there are still many fans anticipating what PSY will have for the New Year. There's been talk of a new single but nothing has been released yet. But there has been mention of him working with Diplo on a new track. And as amazing as a producer that Diplo is, will it be enough to keep the Gangnam Style-madness going?
So unless the calculations for the Mayan-Apocalypse are incorrect, we'll definitely be seeing more of PSY next year.
