Well, with Christmas just about a week away we just may be getting a handful of these covers of Wham!'s "Last Christmas." Heck, we even saw an amazing mashup of PSY's "Gangnam Style" and "Last Christmas" last week.
But this time around, we're graced with a cover done by The xx. Recently performing on BBC Radio 1′s Live Lounge, the group did a slow chilling rendition of one of the happiest holiday songs ever recorded. If it weren't for the lyrics, the song wouldn't even be mistaken for a holiday or Christmas song. Rather it'd be heard as a gorgeous minimal represenation of the winter cold.
