There's no way an NBA team can settle in Brooklyn and there not be a media circus surrounding the move. We've already been treated to potentially historic performances from the Nets' part-owner Jay-Z and rock legends The Who, who made their first live set in four years at the arena, not to mention a solid start from the men in white themselves.
But now BK (by way of Toronto)'s acclaimed hip-hop beatmaker Marco Polo (who has produced for MCs like Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch and Skyzoo) has joined the party, scoring the official theme song for the Nets' broadcasts on YES Network, the team's official cable channel.
Die-hard fans should already be acquainted with the infectious, horn-harmonized hip-hop beat, as well as the animated visuals, but now you can enjoy the full two-and-a-half-minute-version of Marco's production below. After all, it's the Brooklyn way... [P&P]
