True 2 Life Music, the Brooklyn-based trio comprised of Concise, K-Words and Slangston Hughes, "embody hip hop striving towards its full potential." The newcomer group have somewhat lived up to those claims with a number of stellar releases this year, notably their debut album, Every Dream Has a Price, which debuted back in May via DJ Booth. The threesome are back today with a new offering, "Street Dreaming," which ties up classic Soul and R&B influences in a nostalgic hip-hop package, perhaps even drawing semblance to Nas' similarly-titled It Was Written cut, "Street Dreams."
