Hugo Manuel aka Chad Valley is usually known for his sultry and hazy variation of chillwave. Humming keys and electronic sensual beats usually fill his music compositions. But Chad Valley took a step outside when he performed a series of intimate piano driven songs at a Los Angeles loft a few weeks ago.
One of the songs performed was his track "Evening Surrender" from his album Younger Hunger. The original recorded version was a beautiful heart lifting ballad featuring El Perro Del Mar. In the loft performance, Chad Valley was able to evoke every single ounce of heart crying emotion into the performance. His vocals shined. His piano sung dreamily along with him.
