We've heard Son of Kick's "EOW" featuring UK hip-hop and grime outfits Foreign Beggars and Virus Syndicate remixed before by Starkey (premiered right here on Prefix). We've also been treated to a few remakes of wavy hip-hop anthems (namely Dom Kennedy's "My Type of Party" and Three 6 Mafia's "Stay Fly") by NYC-based Austin Millz in the past. But today the two forces collide, resulting in a hi-hat and snare-powered explosion of bass.
New York natives can expect another invasion of EDM Trap this week with Millz performing a live set to open for MMG's Stalley at the Scholarich and The Source Magazine event at Manhattan's Tammany Hall this Thursday (Dec. 6). Click here for more details.
